Washington, DC – On November 2, 2010 at 10:30am the U.S. Department of Agriculture Secretary Tom Vilsack, U.S. Office of Personnel Management Director John Berry, Capital Area Food Bank (CAFB) President and CEO Lynn Brantley, and Chief Human Capital Officers (CHCO) Council representatives will come together to acknowledge the generous contributions of Federal government employees across the country to the Feds Feed Families (FFF) 2010 food drive.
Contributions from Federal employees in the Washington, DC metropolitan area were delivered to the CAFB. Brantley will address and give first hand testaments of the amazing impact the food drive had on children, seniors and struggling families in the region. Berry will present awards to agency representatives from the top contributing small, medium and large agencies and give thanks to the CHCO Council for leading this effort, as well as recognizing our partners at the U.S. House of Representatives, U.S. Department of Agriculture, U.S. Department of Energy and the U.S. Department of Defense.
